“Theatre’s newest darling…” (ES Magazine 12th Dec 08) actress Andrea Riseborough carries her Jas M.B. bag proudly at the opening night of Sleeping Beauty,  part of the English National Ballet’s Christmas at the Coliseum season last week. Andrea ordered a custom made Traveller hybrid, with longer handles and also the addition of a shoulder strap. SKillVM

Queen of Shops, Mary Portas features in the promotional film for a new nationwide Visual Merchandising competition open to students of VM and VM professionals. The film was partly filmed at Doors and documents Mary discussing Carolyn Massey’s window, with Jas M.B. Brand Manager, Dal Chodha.skillVM is a series of skills competitions that find the best of the best in visual merchandising in the UK. It is a chance for you to show your skills and creativity to the world…literally. Winners of the UK competition could also compete at EuroSkills and WorldSkills, the largest international skills competition in the world, taking place in London in 2011.skillVM is a competition for students and those working in VM in the retail industry to demonstrate their visual merchandising creative and technical skills in a live competition environment. Teams are invited to submit mood boards on the theme ‘window into your world’ before creating mock window displays, which will be judged by a panel of experts.
