Friday 20th March sees the last day of Doors by Jas M.B. after almost five successful years of selling the best in contemporary ready-to-wear, shoes, jewelry and of course Jas M.B.’s own collection of leather bags, the store is cloing to mark a new phase in the brands development.

Far from being a victim of the credit crunch the Jas M.B. mainline is availble to order online and at Browns Focus in London. A new showroom location will be announced later in the year.

“Theatre’s newest darling…” (ES Magazine 12th Dec 08) actress Andrea Riseborough carries her Jas M.B. bag proudly at the opening night of Sleeping Beauty,  part of the English National Ballet’s Christmas at the Coliseum season last week. Andrea ordered a custom made Traveller hybrid, with longer handles and also the addition of a shoulder strap. Personal orders and alterations to most styles can be arranged in-store at Doors, 8 Ganton Street, London.

Since leaving the Royal College of Art in 2005, 27-year-old, British menswear designer, Carolyn Massey has gone on to set up her internationally stocked label, (London, Italy, Korea, Sweden) and has been approached by Topman to create a seasonal diffusion line.

Currently in her 4^th season, the Carolyn Massey mainline label exhibits seasonally in Paris during

Mens’ Fashion Week through easternBlock showroom. Corresponding presentations are also held through London Fashion Week.

Her collection is only stocked in Doors by Jas M.B. in London and worldwide stockists currently include PUB department store- Stockholm, Styler Store- Rome and NULL- Korea.
