Queen of Shops, Mary Portas features in the promotional film for a new nationwide Visual Merchandising competition open to students of VM and VM professionals. The film was partly filmed at Doors and documents Mary discussing Carolyn Massey’s window, with Jas M.B. Brand Manager, Dal Chodha.skillVM is a series of skills competitions that find the best of the best in visual merchandising in the UK. It is a chance for you to show your skills and creativity to the world…literally. Winners of the UK competition could also compete at EuroSkills and WorldSkills, the largest international skills competition in the world, taking place in London in 2011.skillVM is a competition for students and those working in VM in the retail industry to demonstrate their visual merchandising creative and technical skills in a live competition environment. Teams are invited to submit mood boards on the theme ‘window into your world’ before creating mock window displays, which will be judged by a panel of experts. A Buck first, Doors favourite, Carolyn Massey continues her assault on the fashion world during her recent trip to Japan. Massey was invited by the British Embassy in Japan to represent the creme de la creme of British design talent, alongside Jas who was there heading a seminar for new designers.

Since leaving the Royal College of Art in 2005, 27-year-old, British menswear designer, Carolyn Massey has gone on to set up her internationally stocked label, (London, Italy, Korea, Sweden) and has been approached by Topman to create a seasonal diffusion line.

Currently in her 4^th season, the Carolyn Massey mainline label exhibits seasonally in Paris during

Mens’ Fashion Week through easternBlock showroom. Corresponding presentations are also held through London Fashion Week.

Her collection is only stocked in Doors by Jas M.B. in London and worldwide stockists currently include PUB department store- Stockholm, Styler Store- Rome and NULL- Korea.
