Queen of Shops, Mary Portas features in the promotional film for a new nationwide Visual Merchandising competition open to students of VM and VM professionals. The film was partly filmed at Doors and documents Mary discussing Carolyn Massey’s window, with Jas M.B. It is a chance for you to show your skills and creativity to the world…literally. Winners of the UK competition could also compete at EuroSkills and WorldSkills, the largest international skills competition in the world, taking place in London in 2011.skillVM is a competition for students and those working in VM in the retail industry to demonstrate their visual merchandising creative and technical skills in a live competition environment. A Buck first, Doors favourite, Carolyn Massey continues her assault on the fashion world during her recent trip to Japan. Massey was invited by the British Embassy in Japan to represent the creme de la creme of British design talent, alongside Jas who was there heading a seminar for new designers.
